With Tesla earnings coming out yesterday with a mixed bag of results we hone in on the YTD equity returns within EV and combustion engine. The deflationary waves in EV space have clearly scared investors away this year while combustion engines seem back en vogue, which is especially cheerful for European car manufactuers who seem to be one step behind the in the techonolgy race within electric vehicles.
